Dr Helen He
Helen Yuan Fang He, who qualified with an M.B. Bachelor of medicine from Beijing University of Chinese Medicine in 1983, is trained in both Western and Chinese Medicine and has practiced as a doctor in the Xuan Wu Teaching Hospital in Beijing. In 1988, Helen worked in the Edinburgh Natural Health Centre and was invited by Edinburgh Royal Infirmary to join a combined consultation clinic for Dermatology.
She is a registered U.K. member of the Traditional Chinese Medicine Society, a Professor at the University of Hong Kong where she is a part-time lecturer, and a Registered Hong Kong Acupuncturist.
In addition to her clinical work, Helen offers facial acupuncture, a beauty treatment, which in trials has been shown to improve skin texture and tighten muscles.
Her special interest lies in women’s hormonal problems and infertility, and she is completing a PhD in Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome.
With 20 years clinical experience, eight of them in the U.K., Helen is now based in Hong Kong.
